Davis is a member of DMC’s Automation<\/a> team in Houston<\/a>. Davis graduated from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a minor in Thermal Fluids, and a concentration in Aerospace. While working full-time, he earned a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Most recently, Davis worked for a Japanese automotive company, starting in the Facilities department, where he upgraded their building automation systems. Next, he moved into hardware and software development for equipment design in the Weld department. His primary design platforms are Omron PLCs, Omron and Proface HMIs, AB Safety PLCs, and Yaskawa SIgma-7 Motion Controllers. In his free time, you can usually find Davis traveling with his wife and their dogs, working on a piece of furniture for friends or family, or losing sleep trying to bring a derelict motorcycle back from the dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
