If you want to dial in the movements to the millimeter, you should use the teach pendant.\u202f&nbsp;\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>To do so you should click the <strong>position <\/strong>button on the bottom right half of the screen.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Fine Joint Position Control button indication\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.dmcinfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/27162638\/fanuc-handlingpro-tips-3.png\"  \/>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Next, enable the teach pendant by clicking the <strong>ON\/OFF<\/strong> switch on the left so that it&#39;s in the <strong>ON <\/strong>position.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>\u202f&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Fine Joint Position Control ON indication\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.dmcinfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/27162637\/fanuc-handlingpro-tips-4_1.png\"  \/><\/p>\r\n\r\n<p><em>Note: The teach pendant-enabled switch will turn off when testing your programs and inhibits many of the editing tools, make sure that this is <strong>ON <\/strong>whenever developing on the teach pendant.<\/em>\u202f\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Now that the teach pendant is on, you can either jog the robot with reference to the tool tip in the XYZ plane (or XYZ angles) using the <strong>blue button<\/strong> on the right of the\u202fteach pendant, or you can press the <strong>REPRE<\/strong> button on the bottom right to switch to the second\u202fmode (Joint Position Control). In this mode,&nbsp;you can jog each one of the individual joints by, again, using the<strong> <\/strong>blue<strong> <\/strong>buttons on the right of the teach pendant.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>\u202f&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Fine Joint Position Control jogging individual joints 1 and 2\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.dmcinfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/27162637\/fanuc-handlingpro-tips-5_1.png\"  \/><\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"Change Views\" name=\"Change Views\"><\/a>Change Views<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<p>You can change your rotational axis by left-clicking anything in the window and can even select different surfaces of an object.
