Steiner proactively wanted to ensure the proper and efficient use of Teams across the company, so they contacted DMC to provide training on best practices and governance for the Teams platform.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.dmcinfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/27165718\/Teams-training-1.png\"  \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n<p>First, DMC provisioned Office 365 and Teams audio conferencing licenses for the client. DMC then trained the client\u2019s power users in a 90-minute virtual Microsoft Teams session on a multitude of Teams features including:\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n <li>Persistent chat and teams vs. channels\u00a0<\/li>\r\n <li>Conference calls and managing calendars<\/li>\r\n <li>Features in a call<\/li>\r\n <li>Outlook plugin<\/li>\r\n <li>Teams settings<\/li>\r\n <li>Notifications<\/li>\r\n <li>File sharing\u00a0&#038; interaction with SharePoint<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<p>DMC demonstrated several short cuts and other Teams best practices. We also instructed the client on how to train their users and provided documentation to do so.\u00a0<br \/>\r\nLastly, DMC trained the client&#8217;s IT team\u00a0on the administrative settings within Teams.
