{"id":13836,"date":"2009-04-27T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2009-04-27T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dmcinfo.com\/our-work\/fiber-optic-data-transmission-test-system\/"},"modified":"2025-05-29T22:29:05","modified_gmt":"2025-05-29T22:29:05","slug":"fiber-optic-data-transmission-test-system","status":"publish","type":"our_work","link":"https:\/\/www.dmcinfo.com\/our-work\/fiber-optic-data-transmission-test-system\/","title":{"rendered":"Fiber-Optic Data Transmission Test System"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The customer&#8217;s previous system consisted of two separate test stations, each requiring manual setup and operation.\u00a0 Test results were manually entered into the database.\u00a0 DMC collaborated with the client&#8217;s engineering staff to define hardware and software specifications for the new system.\u00a0 The new system uses one fully automated 12.5 Gb\/s digital optical transmission test set to perform the functions of the two previous stations.\u00a0 The new system is completely integrated with the database and includes historical reporting capabilities.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>DMC&#8217;s solution is based on National Instruments\u2019 LabVIEW software, NI DAQ hardware, and commercial optical test equipment.
