Kevin graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in mechanical engineering and from the University of Washington with a M.S. in mechanical engineering. He pursued his passion for robotics at UCLA and UW through research on improving robot object manipulation with vision-based tactile sensors. He also worked on a project at UW building an automated machine to process carbon fiber composites for the aerospace industry. In his spare time, Kevin likes visiting breweries, woodworking, outdoor rock climbing, and running ultramarathons.<\/p>
