John has completed onsite commissioning and international projects for clients in a variety of industries including maritime<\/a>, aerospace, food & beverage, and energy. He holds an OPITO BOISET certificate with CA-EBS for offshore work and is proficient in Siemens, Allen Bradley, and B&R PLCs<\/a>. John is an experienced HMI and SCADA programmer and works with a variety of systems including WinCC (Comfort, Pro, and Advanced), WinCC7, FactoryTalk View ME\/SE, Ignition, and Red Lion as well as Sepasoft MES. His C# Programming expertise includes WPF and WinForms. John is also a member of DMC\u2019s Safety Committee. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rice University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. At Rice, John played on the club basketball team, participated in a wide variety of sports, and was the general manager of a student-run bar on campus. Originally from Portland, Oregon, he loves the outdoors and is an avid windsurfer and hiker. In his free time, John enjoys swimming in any body of water he comes across.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
