]]> The Cincinnati office recently gathered to celebrate Emma and her contributions during her summer Co-Op with DMC. Emma, a University of Cincinnati student, worked with our electrical design team over the summer and made a big impact. While she has since returned to school, Emma continues to contribute part-time, so this gathering was the perfect mix of congratulations and “see you soon.”

In Emma’s own words, “The celebration was a ton of fun! It was a culmination of a lot of hard work where we got to relax, play games, have fun, and be slightly competitive. This was my last co-op before my senior year of school and DMC Cincinnati’s first co-op, so it was a celebration of all of the achievements that happened this past summer. The Cincinnati office has been extremely welcoming and made me feel right at home from the first week. The Cincinnati team also presented me with a certificate of completion.”

Arcade Fun and Friendly Rivalries

The celebration kicked off at Arcade Legacy, a local old-school arcade where the team put their competitive sides on full display. A spirited round (or several) of Killer Queen quickly became the highlight of the afternoon, bringing out everyone’s best teamwork and trash talk. From retro pinball machines to multiplayer classics, it was a chance to relax, laugh, and have some fun outside the office.

Dinner and Toasts at Third Eye Brewing

After the arcade, the celebration moved to Third Eye Brewing, where the group enjoyed dinner outdoors and took advantage of the beautiful weather. The evening wrapped up with a toast to Emma, celebrating her hard work this summer and wishing her success as she balances school and part-time work with DMC.

A Well-Deserved Celebration

While not a full “goodbye,” it was a great chance to mark the end of Emma’s summer term, reflect on her achievements, and look ahead to what’s next.

We’re grateful for everything Emma contributed over the summer and look forward to continuing to work with her during the school year!

]]> To have fun is a core value at DMC. From our Activity Fund (a monthly budget dedicated to fun activities), to the ‘welcome parties’ thrown for each employee upon joining DMC or Yearly Office Events (YOEs), there’s always something fun going on at one of our offices.

Fall is finally here! The weather is cooler, and pumpkin spice is wafting in the air — but the fall chill doesn’t stop the fun at DMC! From the YOEzarks to office happy hours, here’s what we’ve been up to in October!

2022 Lake of YOEzarks!

The great DMC YOE finally made its return! This year, DMCers from across the regional offices gathered in St. Louis for a week of fun, bonding, and good times. Here’s just a taste of what went down!
